Trade show layout - Incentive agent buyers

• Format: Sellers will be seated at numbered tables grouped by State, Territory or national. Incentive agent buyers will move between seller tables for 30 rotational appointments.
• Timing: Appointments are 12 minutes long with a 1-minute walk time.
• Floorplan: View and download the floorplan from the ‘Downloads’ tab of the Seller login page (access password sent via email).
• Power & safety: There will be power available at each table. If you have a powerbank please make sure it has China Compulsory Certification (CCC). Keep personal belongings with you at all times.
• No pull up banners or branding of any form is permitted for the showcase.
• Any bags need to be placed under your table.

Trade show layout - Corporate customers and media

• Format: Sellers will be seated at numbered tables grouped by State or Territory. Corporate customers and media will move between seller tables for 28 pre-scheduled appointments.
• Timing: Appointments are 11 minutes long with a 1-minute walk time.

Appointment schedule and directories

• Accessing schedules: Customised schedules have been created for both agents and seller delegates via the unique link emailed to you by Business Events Australia.
• Directory of Incentive Agent Buyers, Corporate Customers and Media: Access via your appointment schedule email. Download the directories to your device prior to arrival. Printed copies will not be provided.
• Real-Time app scheduling: To ensure you always have the most current information, and schedule updates during the event, we strongly encourage using the event app to view your schedule.
• Please prepare and review your appointment schedules and read the organisation bios prior to meetings.
• No onsite printing: Please refrain from printing your schedule, as real-time changes will occur throughout the event. Onsite printing facilities will not be available.

Team building activities

Team building activities will take place on Thursday, 17 September from 2pm to 5pm with the sellers, corporate customers and media.

Delegates will be assigned into six teams, with a dedicated team leader assigned to each group. The session will commence with an icebreaker activity to introduce team members before proceeding into the main activities. Centered around the theme of Aussie Fun, the team activities will incorporate four distinct focus areas. Teams will accumulate points across each round, with an award ceremony held later that evening.

We recommend that you wear comfortable shoes (trainers/sneakers) and you will have some time after the business session has concluded to change before the team building activities begin.

Catering and dietary requirements

Morning tea and afternoon tea will be available in the Reception Centre and lunch will be in the Liang Shang Ge restaurant.

Dietary requirements have been catered for, please notify service staff if you have specific allergies.

Translators

A translator will be provided to sellers who have requested and paid for one for the event. The cost for a translator is $900 AUD (RMB 4,000) for the event program.

Make payments in China

In China, the most common way to make payments is through mobile payment apps like Alipay and WeChat Pay, though cash is widely accepted. We recommend downloading one of these payment apps and linking your cards before departure, as most suppliers do not accept credit/debit cards.

At BEA China Showcase, we are always looking at ways to make environmentally responsible choices and reduce waste. From encouraging delegates to use reusable water bottles, reducing merchandise and event waste, we are working towards building a more sustainable event into the future. 

Zero collateral policy: To deliver a sustainable event and ensure incentive agents do not need to carry physical items, no hard-copy collateral, brochures, table decorations, pull-up banners, gifts, or additional seller branding are permitted on seller tables.

Health and safety

The health and safety of event participants and the broader community is top priority. If you are feeling unwell, experiencing symptoms of illness, or recovering from a contagious condition, please refrain from attending the event.

As you prepare for the event, please remember that all attendees agreed to our Event Code of Conduct during registration.

This policy outlines our shared commitment to maintaining a professional, respectful, and safe environment for everyone. We expect all delegates to uphold these standards throughout the event.

Closest hospital: Lishui District People's Hospital - 6.6 km from the hotel, about a 15-minute drive.
